Report on the amateur film trade. Author observes that the wide availability and sophistication of projectors for private use is out of step with private filmmaking. Hence the need for film rental to augment the supply for home screenings. Practical difficulties notwithstanding the author has good news: the Siegfried Wachtl company has opened a rental service after having acquired the entire Kinagfa catalog. Besides fiction and children's films it contains a wide array of "lehrreiche Dokumente", with medical films and such topics as nature and travel (including Lola Kreuzberg's works), industry and modern technology, ethnography, and sports.
